2015 Honda CR-V

2015 Honda CR-V is a member of a fourth-generation Honda CR-V and it is believed to appear on the market later this year or in the first half of next year.

Exterior and interior

It is speculated that it will be completely redesigned and modernized comparing to its predecessor.As far as the exterior is concerned, it is expected that the new 2015 Honda CR-V will have a new grille, renewed headlamps and a new bumper. There will be a few new patterns on the sides and in the front lights. The wheels have also been redesigned and the pattern is altogether fresh. It looks as if the previous 16-inch wheels have been replaced by 17-inch ones. When it comes to the interior of the new 2015 Honda CR-V, it is expected to have a number of additions in order to improve the quality: it is expected to have the Honda Link app gadget.

Engine and transmission

When it comes to its performance, the new 2015 Honda CR-V will be powered by a 2.4L engine that will be able to produce 189 hp if the past is any indicator. In order to improve the performance of this latest addition to the Honda family, it would be the best if the current automatic transmission of five speeds is replaced by a CVT. Also, there is a possibility that it will be available in a hybrid mode.  The platform which is used in the new Honda CR-V will remain the same until it is finally fully redesigned as it is speculated in 2017.

The new 2015 Honda  CR-V will have a strong competition in the Toyota’s RAV4 and the Nissan Rogue, but its closest competitor

will definitely be Mazda CX-5. As far as the pricing of the new 2015 Honda is concerned, it is expected not to vary much from its predecessor and it starts at $21,000 and goes up to $31,450.
